The sun is out, the bees are buzzing, and the garden is gearing up for BioBlitz 2016! We couldn't be more excited to be hosting a family-friendly outdoor eco-fair THIS SATURDAY that will be filled with planting activities, tours, stories, crafts, and more. The event is part of the Wing Luke Museum’s Family Fun Day, which will feature the family film "Maya the Bee", face painting, as well as arts and crafts activities. Admission to the museum is free during the Family Fun Day. Both the Wing Luke Museum and Danny Woo garden are located in the heart of the International District, a dynamic neighborhood filled with numerous eating and shopping opportunities people can enjoy while attending the celebration. Main Street, Seattle, WA 98104 Activities: build a bug house, planting stations, arts and crafts, garden tours, science exploration, and pollinator games! Cost: FREE This event is made possible through a partnership between InterIm CDA, Wing Luke Museum, National Park Services, and US Forest Service.

The Danny Woo Community Garden is a 1.5 acre edible growing space located in the heart of Seattle's Chinatown/International District.
